郭建永，男，1975年生，祖籍山东。

1997年考入湖北美术学院雕塑系，获学士学位。
2001年6月作品被湖北美术学院展览馆收藏。及国内外私人收藏。
2002年5月湖北卫视美术星空专题访谈。
2004年9月考入中央美术学院雕塑系公共艺术工作室攻读硕士学位。
2007年7月10日获得中央美术学院雕塑系硕士学位。

主要活动：
2005年6月参加世界和平繁荣雕塑全国巡展在南京、上海、北京、武汉等8个城市巡展，作品被国家收藏。
2005年9月作品《教简直书》参加中国美术馆国际双年展并被收藏。
2006年1月被邀参加芬兰国际冰雕大赛获第六名。
2006年4月入选2008奥林匹克国际雕塑巡展。
2006年6月798艺术区独角视觉十人作品展。
2006年研究玻璃艺术并进修于上海大学玻璃艺术专业。
2006年10月上海新浪潮玻璃艺术大展。
